I think the left has been horrible towards Bush. At least he doesnt cheat on his wife, that is very important to values voters and Bush pioneers.

Well, the thing is that Bush is a real president, who has stood up to the Democrats, while Clinton was a loser who had to do what the REPUBLICAN Congress told him to do.

The Democrats have had a personal and political hatred for George W. Bush ever since he won the election in 2000. (Excuse me, according to Democrats, he stole it. This is the reason for the hatred in the first place). Since that time, the liberal and/or extremist wing of the Democratic Party has done everything it could to discredit President Bush, and his term.
He has been lied about and lied too by the very ones who accuse him. Most if not all the Senators in Washington, Clinton, Kerry, Edwards, and others agreed with Bush in 2003 about the threat of Saddam Hussein, and WMD's, yet today deny it, for pure political reasons.
By the way, I've said this before, and I will say it again. In 2000, Al Gore could not even win his own "home state" of Tennessee. Had he won Tennessee, he would have been President, because Florida would not have mattered.

It is nice that Bush never (perhaps) cheated on Laura. It would be much nicer still if he were competent. No, the republicans were MUCH harder on Clinton than the Democrats have been on Bush. Clinton was impeached for lying about receiving oral sex. Big whoop! Bush lied about WMDs and Al Queda connections and launched an unprovoked war. How many hundreds of thousands of people died over Clinton's felatio?

Four million Iraqis have been displaced from their homes. How many millions of refugees were created by Monica's dress stain?

No, Bush has gotten away with murder, and the left just lets it all slide. Did Clinton create an illegal domestic spying program? Did Clinton rescind articles from our beloved Bill of Rights?
