you find out that your son is a traitor, what's your reaction

2007-09-29 11:35:23 · update #1

there has to be some form of punishment, right ? years ago and my daughter still remembers me saying it, i said i would denounce my kids for treason, today i'm not so sure LOL (but i don't tell them that) but I would do something, not something, many things about it

how can someone betray a religion ? (tell christians and jews verses of the koran ? i don't mean kafer, my question is khayen, gassooss)
it's political, giving out crucial information, selling information to the enemy

do you agree that you can be an online gassooss without knowing it, having no clue that you are, and for free too :) ? and do you agree that in some way, we all are, and thinking of it this way, do you receive as much as you give out ? i don't think we do, we aren't that lo2ama

This one's worse than the rape question.
The clear thing in my mind is if that traitor is a clear, present and ongoing danger to whatever I belong to, then yes i would.

If it's just a project or a plan, then no I wouldn't.
I would find another way to deal with the situation.

God what a question.
The problem with these hypothetical situations is that 90% of the time, you would never do what you say you would do.

zoser is always so wise, where does he get it from lol.

You know i could denounce what they do or what they have done or how they think but I was raised to believe in something, no matter what your children do, you can dislike their behaviour but that doesn't mean that you don't love them.

Kareem the blogger (I think hes from Alex sa7) his father publicly disowned him for what he said about Islam, AL azhar and the president. If he was my son i wouldn't not agree with what he said but agree with his right to think it, say it and write it.

Yes no doubt a person would blame them-self to an extent but denounce a being that grew in your own tummy, no never.

No I will not, Ya Sahar you are a mother, you know you will not,, I do not have children , but If I have and I found out that my son is a traitor, I will not denounce him , I will just spit on my own face that I could not raise him better, It will be mainly my mistake, even if he is old,,, I will support him and help him to correct himself /rescue himself, one way of that help , he receive the fair punishment , I will do that and my heart will be tearing apart,,, but I will never denounce him sorry …..(I think and I may be wrong,- as I do not have children as I said,- the mistakes of children will be always in their parents beliefs , their own mistakes)..

edit AA:thnx,: The answer of this question was inspired by a cat which almost killed itself, defending its kittens which were locked in a garage, against 5 men … (I do not believe that a cat with her children will be better than me)..

Sahar even if he/she is a spy...(i think we do not have this problem anymore in Egypt, who would spy on us ,,,aldarb fel maeet haram lol.. Ma7'alas...)
