Fact is... I just enjoy watching football and I don't understand why people have to tear other teams a new one just because they are good. Honestly... I mean completely honestly... do you believe that this whole videotaping thing had any bearing on the game or the outcomes of any of their previous winning seasons... I mean when you really think about it, do you really believe that? I mean do you really believe that they have been so cunning in cheating over the years so as to make no one suspicious about it only to so blatantly have someone filming on the sideline... haha, I mean really? I mean if they were actually cheating... and cheating all along... why would they do it so blatantly and jeopardize the good name their franchise... one that prides themselves on class and integrity. Doesn't make a lot of sense now that I've spelt it all out for your... now does it?

Maybe it's because Belicheck is so arrogant that he thought he could get away with it. I don't think so, because I think it is definitely stupidity more then it would be arrogance and I think that we can all agree... if you have watched and listened to Belicheck he is not a stupid man. So honestly... real opinions.

First of all I would question you stating "one that prides themselves on class and integrity" when talking about the Patriots. They have just done in the past of not getting caught.
Honestly, I think the fact that Bill has done so good for so long at getting away with cheating mixed with his arrogance made him think he can get away with anything. You add that in with the feud with Mangenious and you are just asking for trouble.
I'm really shocked that any sports fan could actually question if this had an outcome on the game or not. Of course it has outcome on games. How could knowing the signals of the other team not have an outcome on the game. Yes you still have to make the plays but if you know what the other team is about to do, don't you think that makes making the plays a little easier? I have been a diehard sports fan for a long time and I don't think I have ever seen fans mirror a coach so much. The majority of Patriot fans that I have met share Bill's same arrogance. Never have I ever seen so many people try to make excuses for someone else when they cheat. Even the most level headed Pats fans (like the person posting this question) still downplay the impact that this has.

No...the Jets screwed it up by themselves.
But as much as Pats fans don't want to believe it, they cheated last year too. And we don't know if the cheating had an outcome on THOSE games yet.
