Yep, this is very, very normal. Baby's can sleep up to 22 hours a day. And half of those hours are spent in the REM sleep. Meaning "rapid eye movement." It's not quite the deep sleep, but it's the stage just before. Anyway. It's very common for their breathing to change while they're sleeping as well because their bodies are very immature and their lungs and hearts are getting stronger to support more constant, steady breathing, but for now, it's all good. Give yourself a couple of months and it'll change.

you'll either have to lower the volume after recording on a sound program like soundforge which comes on some computers or get a microphone that can filter out background noise. most good microphones are quite expensive. i would just recommend not being too close to the mic and messing with it in a sound program.

This has happened to me before. Instead of talking directly into the mic, tilt your head at a 90 degree angle and speak one inch up and to the side of it. Or just try any different position in which you are not breathing air into the microphone, but to the side of it.

The micro phone should be at a 2 fingers wide distance from your lips near you chin that way the microphone will be away from the path of your breathing.

sounds like you need a "pop filter". Stand back from the mic a little and hold a streached out piece of nylon in front of it... yes... the type of nylons women wear,,,this will cut the "wind sound down to nothing" double up on it if you have to.
