Only if it refers to God as a name. Even the person who said in all applications didn't capitalize "gods"
Some people also capitalize personal pronouns referring to the Jude-Christian god. I do not, it is merely a convention, and there is no compelling reason to do so.

When you are referring to the singular deity, yes. In fiction, if someone uses "god" and isn't referring to the deity, the author may choose not to capitalize. (For example, "Oh my god! I haven't seen you in years," she said.)
However, the publisher may have a standard which always capitalizes God unless there is a compelling literary reason not to.

If you're referring to religious God, then yes. If, however, you're referring the gods in Greek or Roman mythology, or other things like that (porcelain god, for example), then no.

I have seen it both ways, God, as in the almighty God, or in other cultures they have more than one so they are gods. I capitolize it just to be on the safe side.

God
Like anyone's name.
Also if you say Him (about God) it should still be in caps.
