I will go outside and stare at them, they usually walk away pretty quickly. I pay an arm and a leg to have our lawn maintained!

I sure do!! One couple came by when I was working outside on my lawn and put their two dogs under the pole fence so they could do their thing. I came unglued and they had the effrontery to tell me how terrible I am and that they were only little dogs and were not going to do any damage etc. I will never forget that encounter. I guess I am still mad and unbelieving that anyone could be so dense.
Ther is a vacant lot across the street.

*I am a responsible pet owner of German Shepherds and I never let them walk on my neighbors lawn! I think you would be well within your rights to ask them to keep the dog off of your lawn! If you do not wish to hurt their feelings tell them you use a toxic fertilizer on the grass, that may harm their pet! They will think you are being kind hearted and your problem will be solved! I sure do! I own a beach house and people just walk their dog on my lawn and I end up cleaning their brownies and the pea kills my grass. In the summer time people use my path to go to the beach and my husband tells them not too, but they still do.

Nah, if the dog is just walking it doesn't bother me. If the dog craps in my yard and the owner doesn't clean it up then I freak out

No, I am a dog lover, I have 3. However, I am a responsible pet owner, I carry my pooper scooper and a plastic bag when I take them for walks.

I don't "freak out", but it's definitely uncool, especially if they don't clean up after the dog. At that point, I will definitely say something.

Absolutely yes!!
It takes weeks, even months to grow a perfect garden, and it only takes a second for dogs to mess it up, with their.....business.

We don't have Lawns at the beach, so no, we have teeny backyards made with cement
