It was John Frusciante. He left the group soon afterwards and re-joined about a decade later.

It was John Frusciante, who is the band's current guitarist. He left the band after Blood Sugar (the band recruited guitarist Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction for their next album), but rejoined for the Californication album.

John Frusciante on guitar, Michael "Flea" Balzary on bass, pending which guitar you meant. Frusciante left after Blood Sugar Sex Magik was popular and rejoined during Californication

I can't remember his name, but I remember he's the original guitarist from 10 or so years ago.
