You got it! a star for bringing this to the attention of inquiring minds!
It is vital that we continue in Iraq at any price. If the terrorists take over Iraq...9-11 will look like a just a little of what will come. They hate us and Israel.
remember, the UN and Congress, many others including Hillary Clinton voted to go into Iraq, so its their war, too.

Getting into Iraq is very dangerous, let alone report from the front. But I believe the "liberal media" are the one's who are actually there. Fox news reports from the front desk in New York...that's why there's a lot of "good things" happening in Iraq. They're Patriots...

Ok, is what you're saying is that you sit around and read papers all the time?
Why bother with the media when you have the ability to make informed decisions on your own without them?
I say research is the best form of information regarding any candidate to make sure we vote for the right person for office.

I wish it were that simple.
In truth, though people don't think about it much, the news is about the strange, the weird, the unusual.
You rarely see ex-felons in the news after a crime, unless it is very unusual in nature.
You see low-level politicians and up in the news for some of the smallest crimes.
The actual statistics show that the average representative is far less likely to commit a crime than the general public!
It's news, because it's unusual.
With a 6 to 1 kill ratio in our favor (6 of them dead, 1 of ours), the death of one of them is NOT news. With all the buildings, the schools, the successes, with so much going well, that makes it "not news".
Wish it were different.
I have to agree with FOX news' critics when they say it isn't news. It isn't. They present bad things and good things, no matter how common or rare they are. They show a balanced coverage of events with both sides represented in their "news" segments, but have opinion coverage that is mostly on the right. That's not news.
I wish more channels would copy them, though as a democrat, I'd really like to see ALL sides represented (free speech fan here).
Keep speaking up, regardless, folks. That's what makes us stronger.

The conservative-biased media in this country ignores the truth about Iraq, something any remaining liberal media needs to tout with more stentor.
Most Americans are aware that this 'war' is - and has been since its first day - all about OIL and WAR PROFITEERING.
What most Americans don't know is that the number-one non-military 'benchmark' Bush is pushing the Iraqi Parliament to pass is a law which would surrender two-thirds of the Iraqi oil fields to private, foreign oil corporations. **
What most Americans don't know is that the U.S.A. is building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghadad overlooking the 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration.
What most Americans don't know is that Halliburton is building fourteen (yes - 14!) new permanent U.S. military bases in Iraq, all of which means the U.S.A. will maintain a military and commerical presence in Iraq for decades - if not generations - until all the OIL has been sucked from that nation's sands.
The liberal media needs to loudly let Americans know that we have bullied our way into Iraq just to steal all of Iraq's OIL. 675,000 Iraqis and 3,800 U.S. soldiers have given up their lives so that a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists and power brokers can become wealthier and more powerful, and so that Americans can continue to drive around in their Hummers, SUVs and other gas-guzzling, environmentally-hazardous vehicles.
The liberal media (or what's left of it) needs to get off its a*s and start overuling all the propaganda fed to gullible Americans by conservative-biased media monsters such as Ann Coulter, Shawn Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.
Such verbal toxic waste is not only destroying our country; it is ruining America's reputation around the world.
The only 'progress' in Iraq is the continued death toll, all for the sake of OIL and PROFIT. It is immoral, unjustified and obscene. -RKO- 09/29/07

It doesn't fit their agenda. The Liberal media wants a Democrat in the White House and reporting good progress in Iraq does not help that agenda, pure and simple.
