Even the consideration of allowing that degenerate into America was a mistake, much less actually going through with it.
Part of the blame must rest with Bush, but if he would've prevented it, the leftists here in America would have unleashed their unclean transcription of "free speech" on the American public.
And to the people who believe Jews and Christians are treated fairly by the Iranian government: not true. Of course the majority of the Iranian citizenry who are Muslim are tolerant enough, but not the Mullahs.
No way will Mahmoud be allowed to collect enriched uranium.

No I think you dont know what you are talking about. Every represenative of every country has a right to go to the UN!The USA is responsible for 9/11, your countries presidents family was friends with Osama Binladin and Sadam. Nowadays gays dont get the death sentence in Iran, they just get warnings and maybe go to jail but they do not get killed anymore. Jews have freedom in Iran, there is no color code or extra tax for jewish people, you sound like a biggot. Look for your facts somewhere other than FOX news, you are sadly misinformed. There are many jewish and christian people in Iran, and they are treated no differently than muslims. Have you ever even been to Iran? Do not judge a country until you have been there and felt what it is like. Iran is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Dont group all Iranians as the same, it is ignroant. And the Iranian presidents name is not "ahmidinijab!"

We entertained the Soviets when they came here and they were more of a threat than Ahmadinejad is.
Who cares what idiocy he spews. It just makes him look like more of an idiot.
I do think Iran may be a problem, but I don't think they would be able to maintain a credible nuclear threat for any period of time - with or without US intervention.

What did America have to fear from his visit?I for one think it shows America in a good light.I would like to see Mr. Bush go to Iran now and keep the doors open between these two nations. When you shut the door the world becomes a poorer place.

What Democrat thinks he's cute? Please name one. That is just plain stupidity.
And to answer the question that was asked. Do I think that there is there a great mountain of a problem growing in Iran with a madman and a nuclear bomb? Yes I do.

He actually came for a UN convention. He just parrots what he sees in the media thinking that he will gain sympathy for his cause, gain propaganda at home, and make the Bush administration look bad. It didn't work. I think he'll think twice about speaking at a university in the U.S. again.

He was invited by the UN.
The US had nothing to do with it.
BUT...... Democrats think he's "cute".
(Especially since everything he said was repetition of the "Democrat Talking Points".)
