No, communists are much more open about their intentions and are not nearly as evil. The worlds most 'successful' capitalist country is just run by selfish, ignorant, hypocritical fiends who won't blink at lying to each other or their 'people', and will happily starve a million people for an extra million bucks in their bank accounts and won't hesitate to sink a foreign country into war to stimulate the war materials economy and protect their own financial interests.

Tyrants are Tyrants.
It does not matter if the tyrant is "Left wing" or "Right wing", Fascist or Communist.
They are tyrants and should all be suppressed, fought,or resisted by whatever means are appropriate.
Certainly, they should never be supported, promoted or encouraged in any way.
Certainly the entire world is complex and little freedom is to be found. Getting ACCURATE information on what is really happening in any situation is difficult.
What I said above should be applied in principle, but often the U.S.A. has been confronted with poor choices when dealing with international situations.
Sometimes it has been necessary to use the help of nations we would otherwise shun when forced to choose solutions that are less than what we would ideally want.
That is life in this world. I certainly wish it were different, but it is NOT.

The U.S. foreign policy has been going downhill for quite a while. I mean, we invaded Iraq because a group of primarily Saudi fundamentalists crashed planes into the world trade center buildings. Which was planned by a Saudi national, Osama Bin Laden. The bad news is, it looks like a long hill!

This link might answer your question ... Do a quick run down the list and see how many of those have been or are being put into place today. Groups like "United for Peace and Justice" are run by Communist left overs. The founder of the ACLU himself was a Communist. And of course, the presence of customs like "political correctness" doesn't help either.
None of them have any place in this country, and I'd feel much better if they disappeared tomorrow.

The U.S. can't put sanctions on countries whenever it wants to. It must go through the U.N.
