Certainly I would, especially if I felt that the foreign invaders had an imperialistic mentality.

:-(

Americans myopic stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
Are any of you Yanks aware that during WWII, Winston Churchill's government had in place Britains 'Secret Army'?

Their job, if a Gereman occupation was successful, was to engage the invaders in guerrila warfare. Let's take the French Resistence as an example. Where they insurgents or 'terrorists' when fighting against the Germans and the Vichy?
You bet your a$$ I would volunteer to defend my country against American or any foreign aggression. I would be prepared to remove your soldiers in any way I could.

God bless America; You certainly need as much help as you can, because the majority of the world is cursing you.

Yes but I would be called the resistance. The word insurgent actually gives legitimacy to the invading body.

It's funny. Iraqi's had national elections and turned out in numbers that put our elections to shame (around 75% of the population). The government they elected then chartered the U.N to have a mandate that requests US Led National Security Forces to stay. Read below:

So, let me make sure I understand your logic. A government, elected by the people of Iraq, requests assitance and that is an illegal invasion by "hostile foreign invaders"? Okay.....

This system of moral equivocating grows more facile by the stroke.

Syrians; Jordanians; Saudis; Yemenis; Algerians; Tunisians, ( et cetera)..who've come to Iraq to fight the Coalition are not insurgents?

bloody hell man, this list would take too long

of course. But the irony here is that the Bush Administration has convinced people(at least it's base) that insurgents are terrorists.

That goes without saying that if you were a patriot, you would do whatever it takes to defend your homeland.... However, as your avator suggests, we have many here who just live in denial and are afraid of the truth....

or maybe, they will acquiesce and just lie down and die. Never thought of it that way before, that's why they can't understand why the Iraqis are fighting back.....and the Afghans.

Not unless you decided to form an insurgency and revolted against that government. Oh and if you're alluding to the U.S. that's stupid.
