I have come to realize that no matter how many valid points I make and how many times I argue intelligibly about the Patriots and their success, people are just not always going to agree. In a perfect world people would just agree with me and understand what I am saying is right and there is absolutely zero reason to disrespect a team like that Patriots. Though... I think of it this way... it was the same way for every other NFL dynasty. People always claim they are not as good as they really are and the way that they rose to the top is always called into question. Up until recently it was just the rants of people who had no solid backing that the Patriots rose to the top by any other means then being a good team... then "videogate" came into the picture and now every person that dislike the Patriots will argue until they are blue in the face the Patriots are cheaters and THAT and THAT fact alone is how they were successful all of these years.

To argue that is completely absurd... and anyone with even a centipede's intellect understands that. I don't doubt that the people who argue this fact are intelligent people... their frame of mind is just clearly fogged by their feelings towards the Patriots and how they consistently win. I mean... their have been times I have said things that I don't mean in the heat of the battle about players that I truly respect... it's what competition does. Thinking back, I remember the HORRIBLE things that people used to say about the Cowboys... it's just back then it was in one ear and out the other because it wasn't my team and it didn't effect me. It does now... because the Patriots are that team. I guess I have to live with that and also have to understand that as long as the Patriots are successful people will say unfair things about them. Atleast I find solice in the fact that just like with the Cowboys... ten years from now people will look back and show nothing but respect for the Pats.

Now I have made ALOT of rants since being on Yahoo! Answers about the Patriots... this is going to have to be my last. I've accepted the feelings people have toward the Patriots and will just move on and continue to enjoy watching my team dominate the NFL... well fingers crossed... like they say... any given sunday. GO PATS!

If ony the Pats had not been caught cheating. If only. I use to look forward to having the Colts play the Pats every year, it was a good game against two great teams, now it seems like its tarnished. The fact is that the NFL dropped the ball on the handling of the video they recieved from the Pats, they destroyed it almost the minute they got it. Why was there not a review and a statement saying that the video was reviewed, and while there were other instances of video taping, none were taken in the playoffs or during the superbowl? I dont blame the players, I dont blame the Kraft family, I think it rests squarely on the shoulders on the coaching staff. The advantages gained could have been minimal, but we will never know for sure how many or games could have went the other way if not for the Pats knowing signals and tendencies for yardage and downs in certain situations over a 6 year period.

As for this year, whenever the Pats play a team ranked above 25 in one category I will say they are a good team, up until now they have played teams that would struggle in the MAC.

Well, first of all, I agree with you. The Patriots aren't immune to accusations but they are a great team. I don't think that surveillance gives any team in any sport a great advantage anyway. The game is decided on the field. And even if one team knew every play the other team was going to make, there is still the chaos factor to consider.

Anyway, don't concern yourself with convincing anyone that feels differently about it. You would be spending your time better trying to get a dozen cats to walk a straight line. And even as an Eagles fan, I think the Birds got beat fair and square. The best team won the SB, and if anyone thinks that their team is owed something for this is a chump in my book - even if you love the Eagles.

interesting argument......but I'm curious as to how often you have let the bias be reversed? I find that very few people can discuss the shortcomings of their teams honestly and intelligently....and so grab for any excuse to point attention at other teams....like with your CameraGate situation. Now I still am not to fond of the Pats(though they are wonderful in my book compared to Pittsburgh and Dallas), but, because I HAVE read all the info, and listened to player and coach interviews....all of which essentially said that the info would be of very minor gain, and only in the second 1/2 of that game...(as game plans and signal calling adjusts throughout the season....and change completely every season).....except of course Manweenie....who is the biggest joke of a "Genius" in the NFL today. Honestly I could care less. Can we just move on? The stupid Pats have kicked all comers in the nads since then.....so I guess it wasn't that big a help. I only hope that Moss wakes up with explosive diarhea or somethin'......so that my Bengals have a chance on Monday.

I didn't care for the Patsies in 1985 when they lost to the Bears in the Super Bowl. And I could care less for them now.
You are only ranting about this because you are a Patsy fan. Put a different pair of shoes on & you would be yelling Cheaters along with everyone else...
Or, if the Dolphins beat your Putzez and was caught videotaping Brady's thumb up his a$$. You would be jumping all over this page about how the Phins were cheating.

Bottom line is
SHUT-UP!

it particularly is a bias paper, The Jets have been cought with one extra digicam on the top zone of N.E. final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and the cameraman became kicked out, ought to we positioned an Astrix on each win that they had, this season the Titans accused the Broncos of having one extra digicam taping their indicators. human beings in basic terms prefer to think of that is in basic terms the Pats doing it. while Jimmy Johnson became asked if he ever bent the regulations or cheated to income an facet he danced around the question yet did no longer deny doing it, he extraordinarily plenty pronounced definite devoid of incredibly asserting it. invoice Parcells did the comparable factor.

I think Videogate has turned into a good thing for the team. The coaches get to tell the players everyone thinks you can't do (whatever!) and it looks like NE has taken an us versus the world attitude very early this year! Drving a close team even closer!

I think only Indy can beat them in the playoffs!

Why are you so full of yourself and the Pats? You have not made a single valid point that I can see.

Go cry on a Cowboys shoulder and leave the NFL talk to fans who do not whine about everything.
