I mean he's all disapointed that the Tigers aren't going to play in the playoffs this year. This is understandable, because if the Yankees weren't going to the playoffs I'd be bitter too. Fortunately for me the Yankees are going to the playoffs just like they have every year since 1995 and this is the year the championship comes back to New York. But question after question that comes out of this person is all about how bad he thinks the Yankees are. Reality check for you Georgie. They're better than the Tigers. As for the playoffs. They swept the Tribe this year. They won the season series against the Sox 10-8 winning 5 out of the last 6. The only team that would give them a problem is the Angels if they meet in the ALCS

I'm going to give it to ynke7themick. I was just upset that he blocked me because I made valid points on one of his questions which I thought was pretty sad.

OK everyone, I realize that Georgie can, AT TIMES be a pain. But This is a GUY that REALLY Loves his team,,,,, And believe it or Not LOVES Baseball... Georgie and I have been Talking Baseball since HE wrote me, A YANKEES fan To Discuss an upcoming Game,, this was around a Year ago.... We have been freinds ever since...See its NOT impossible to have a FREIND that roots for a diferent team.....Dont think that this changes the fact that G.P. has a team that is NOT in the playoffs this year...And I fully expect Him to say something So Georgie, like they Have not Won a championship in the 21st century......OK Georgie I will give you that much .....BUT!!!!

I can't speak for Georgie but I can say for myself that I'm a Tigers fan and I still don't think were worse than the Yankees. Just because they made the playoffs and the Tigers didn't doesn't make the Yankees a better team. The Tigers got a much deeper division and had to fight off the injury bug. There both great teams and I love it when they play each other, I just can't stand questions like this where they are totally biased and unnecessary.

I was actually chatting with Georgie Porgie the other day and believe it or not, he WAS born a Yankee fan.

His parents, angered by this deformity, sent him away, but retreived him when doctors informed them that they can cure him.
What was needed was they had to take his head out of his behind so oxygen could flow.

Once that occured, the brain started to work again and he was free to choose a team to support that wasn't so easy.

It's not really hard work calling people during the off season and saying "hey, want to play for us, we will beat any offer"

As his baseball knowledge grew, he settled in on his choice of teams to support, the detroit Tigers.

And that's the story of Georgie Porgie.

I haven't seen him around here for a while. I think he's in agony because his Tigers didn't make it...but the Yankees did.

He shouldn't have opened his mouth to start out with.

Outspend every other team by up to 10 times each year, and the least one would expect would be a playoff birth. Sad they get nothing else.
