I'll be 37 weeks on Monday. 2 weeks ago, at my 35 week checkup, I asked about discharge that I had, she said that my cervix was softening and that the discharge was mucous. Well, in the past week or so, the discharge has really decreased. Will I stop having this discharge after the mucous plug is passed and could it have passed without me knowing?

Yes you do. And it may have passed without you knowing, not everyone notices when it passes.

Doubtful. The mucous plug is brown and icky. Is that what your "discharge" looked like?

it is normal to keep passing discharge for a couple of days after your mucous plug is broke you will notice when ur mucous plug is broke it will be slimmy and quite a bit of it with a brown bloody ting to it
