Actually, no. I don't think they have a chance, especially with the Indians having Sabathia and Carmona in their pitching rotation. Then the Yankees with their steroided team (joke, don't be mad at me), especially with A-Rod. And the Red Stockings are just too all around good!
But if they made it, I think they would have a good chance to win. Because I bet that either the Phillies or Mets are going to make it to the playoffs and World Series of Baseball. Though, if they have to play the Metropolitans, that would still be pretty hard.
Hey, at least they have Bad Vlad!

If they get past the Red Sox, they're the odds-on favorite.
While the NL teams are usually more interesting than AL teams, but the talent skews AL (especially with the AL hosting, and their DH advantage). So, I'll say they have a 30% chance of beating the BoSox, a 50% shot of winning the ALCS if they do, and an 70% chance of winning their 2nd world championship if they get to the series.

If they can somehow get there, they have a good chance to beat whichever team from the NL makes it. However, given that their offense is the worst of the 4 AL teams in the playoffs, chances of them winning both the Division and the ALCS are slim.

They have great defense, pitching, timely hitting and they've done it before. Yes they have a great chance!
Defensively they have the least amount of errors (they do not shoot themselves in the foot). They have Lackey who is a Cy Young candidate, they have Vlad the Impaler and Garrett Anderson hitting the stuffing out of the ball and they have K-Rod finishing they game with his intensity and skill.
They did it a few years ago too, they know how and they will get it done!
Go Halos!

Come on! They got swept by the Rangers. Do I believe they can win the WS? Sure. You play like they did in Texas and they won't go anywhere.
