Dying a dress?

How would i dye a polyester-satin dog dress with a chiffon skirt black? I found this awesome bride dress for a dog and i want to dye it black for Halloween. What brand is best and how would i do the actual dying?

Rit is the only dye brand I know, and polyester-satin sounds hard to dye. But you could buy a box
