Start my period on the 16th of Sept and all was normal but after the usual 5 days I keep on having what I guess is "break through bleeding". Not alot but I am tracking my ovulation days (planning to try in Nov) and I'm totally confused. Any similar experiences? I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about 2 years ago and am on replacement thyroid hormones which my dr just upped. Could this be related? I also have gained 8 lbs in two weeks which is really uncharacteristic since I work out 5 days a week. I also have a IUD.

Are you hypo/hyperthyroid? I would have some blood work done & see what is going on with your body. Don't just Google your info., this might be a good starting point.
Your Thyroid & medication can affect your cycle, trying to conceive & weight gain.

I suggest you type the name of your medication for your thyroid + side effects into Google and see what results you will find. Usually if a symptom is common among users it will be written as one of the side effects.
