this year I'm going to make cookies for everyone I don't give presents to. And it's really fun especially putting the icing on them. I can make some really great designs. maybe you should do the same

well if they have a significant other then this is a nice little thing what you do is take a big canning jar and you put the dry items for homemade cookies ie chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, flour etc you put the lid on and tie on a cute little card with the recipe that way they can make it and seem like a sensitive guy lol so its like a double present lol

every year for some friends and some family...I do a basket in it I bake different kinds of candy and cookies, they are always happy to have all the sweets around christmas time....
also this may seem sooo cheap of me...but for some of my friends kid, I order samples from kids free sites all year, and fill them a stocking with all I've collected and then buy candy to fill the rest of the way, a cheap gift, but they love getting alot of goodies, better than just one toy/gift

Prepared foods or mixes put in attractive containers with the recipes for the adults. Little kids don't know the difference. A clothing item for the really small kids. Older kid something for their age group - I can't think what they might want - something for their bedroom.

well, homemade photo albums are usually a good for parents. get a binder and you cover it with a sheet of cotton you can get at any fabric store, then cover that with a nice material and buy photo pages at any photography shop. (I could give you step by step instructions if your interested...just contact me) I also paint flower pots too...you can get a design off the internet somewhere and paint it, then you can either buy a plant for it or fill it with things like loation and perfume or whatever you want to put in it. for kids, you could try the local craft shops and see what ideas they have there...sometimes they have patterns and kits for sewing stuffed animals or blankets and stuff.

Well, last year I made homemade soaps and shampoo's, body wash, and lip cream. I put them in little baskets and gave them to all the woman in my family. Good for 12-to grand ma. You can also make homemade shaving cream for the guys and bathtube play stuff for the young ones. You can hide little toys in the soap.

*recipes in a jar go over quite well: soups, cookies, spiced tea or hot coca. *homemade play dough for the little ones
*aprons: his (bar-b-q king) her (collectible)
*also the little ones might enjoy a sock puppet
**anything you make and give from the heart will have more meaning than any store bought item
