I was born there in 62. But my parents were drenched in the 50's. And I was pretty young. I live near by and still go to the city occasionally.

Moved to the City in 1966. Lived just 1 block off Haight, 4 blocks from Ashbury. Had a great time, even inhaled. Went back about 10 years ago. All has changed up on the hill, but still the same down by the waterfront. Have fun if you go.

Yes I did get to visit San Francisco in 1975. My parents asked me what I wanted for graduation and that is what I wanted, a trip to California. This trip was also the first and only time that I got to fly in an airplane. I wanted to go visit my aunt and uncle, they lived in San Jose. I got to see a lot of sites during my stay. I ended up staying 6 weeks instead of the 2 weeks that I was suppose to stay. I thought it was really pretty there. From there, my aunt and I flew to Colorado to see yet another aunt and uncle. Then back to Oklahoma with mom and dad. I would love to go back and visit California again.

Yes I go there quite often and although things have mellowed quite a bit...you can still catch that 60's vibe all over San Francisco. Especially in the Haight district. They are holding it down quite well. Mostly touristy but the small shops still cater to the hippy inside all of us. What can I say. I dig it up there.

Visited San Fran about 3 years ago, July...do not want to go back. The weather sucks, cold and damp as hell. And, sorry to say this, but each and every block had at least 100+ homeless people hitting you up with every step...the fast food joints were stuffed with them, the streets were filthy, .... I cannot find one nice thing to say about that place. I will not leave my heart in San Francisco, or any other part of me! Goldwing

I never got that far. I visited by best friend in San Diego and her parents took us to Los Angeles. My best friend eventually moved to San Francisco for a time but moved back to Texas. I would have loved a trip to San Francisco.

I am a fan of the other side, Oakland, because of the Oakland Raiders.

Thanks. I would like you to share your experiences in San Francisco with us.

No, but I would love to see it. I was supposed to go on a trip with an old friend in 2003 around the USA, but it did not happen.

Would love to travel the US. One day maybe!?

Two of my daughters have travelled extensively and they just loved San Francisco.
