Was it because their base is white voters? Don't bother to answer that they had prior commitments. I'm sure they did! I wonder, though, if they would have cancelled everything to attend a debate on the NRA.

Edit same: You're right...Republicans consider addressing black people as a waste of their precious time. It's just that most cons would not admit such a thing!

Lets be honest about this. Blacks vote 90%+ for democrats every time. I don't think that many of them know what harm that democrats have done to black families, destroying many with former lifetime welfare, and enslaving their children in poor performing public schools. As long as blacks choose to be victims and to be pandered to by race baiting democrats, I don't see anything changing quickly, and republicans would just be wasting everyone's time with a group that wants to live their life this way.
