The real seniors are fair, non competitive, kind, don't do thumbs down unless an answer uses profanity. They do not judge you. They enjoy each other. We have a great one on here who is willing to help us when we are in trouble. We have people with great imagination and spirit.
So, thank you. Does anyone wish to comment and share their reasons for liking Senior Citizen site?

I am glad some of you are able to receive my email, but saddened when you do not respond. I still cannot get Answers to show me when someone has answered my question. Love to all of you.

I agree. I love to hear sage advice about things, and yet, I am still allowed to "play" without seeming like I live in the past. Thank you for doing your part to make this site fun.

The Senior Citizens Site has, for the most part, contributors that use correct grammar and can spell correctly. They use full sentences without an abundance of abbreviations. They do not respond with profanity and their responses are usually upbeat and positive. Humor is used in large doses. It is a place I can come to when I need answers to serious concerns and also a place to find silliness.

As I've said before the seniors "section" (I was corrected about this once) has been like a sancuary for me to go to get away from the stresses of everyday life and I feel I know you all and enjoy conversing with young people as well. I have always thought it was such a shame that when people get older that there wasn't somewhere they could go to share what they have learned by trial and error over their lifetime. Well, this is it and there are some problems but no problem is so big it can't be overcome. Thanks to all who participate ,from your friend Donna/Donya

I like seniors because there are a great bunch on here. I have fun and gain information. I can choose for myself what time I spend on here. As much as I love my friends and family, when they phone and I'm busy I never say so, I talk while the dinner burns or the bathroom needs cleaning.
On here I have more control on my relax time. I've met some great friends here, I love to mail them. I never know when a mail will arrive, no more waiting for the morning post and being disappointed that no one wrote me a letter with the latest news.
If I can't sleep there is always someone on the other side of the world to interact with . So all in all I have to say, I'm pleased to have met you all. x

I like this site because although it is supposed to be a haven for Seniors anyone can visit and I find the interaction keeps me feeling younger than the calender tells me I am.So many people have had so many interesting experiences that they are willing to share. I like looking out for some familiar Avatars and am always pleased when they are on line.

Sometimes it's like "coming inside out of a storm". A good "resting place"...and full of good memories that many of us had probably forgotten. I do wish more people from the 50's were on here (I mean who were teenagers in the 50s) And I wish there was more "helping people" on here. (with problems in life that younger people don't understand) I think many are afraid to go to the M.H. section. I sent someone to Seniors the other night for ya'll to help..don't know if she came here though.

You know that feeling you get when you smell something that takes you back to your childhood? Like mown grass, or talcum powder? Or when you hear a song you haven't heard in 35 years?
Well on this site I get to feel that same warm glow almost every time I log on. You guys hold up a mirror for me, and help me see things about my life I had forgotten long ago.
I treasure that...and I thank you all.

Yes, it is great and it is so interesting to see how all our back grounds differ and we have a different take on many things from the past because of that.{ and some are very }kind} and gentle in spite of their own lot in their life so Interesting indeed and I am writing a book about my adventures here and I am sure it will be a best seller.{My brother is helping me and he has written 7 books .}
