Not at all. He didn't have a chance and he's turned out to be a complete hypocrite, after all he has admitted to having his own affair while prosecuting Clinton for his.

Not very surprising at all. While IMO Newt would make a decent POTUS, he's too conservative (can there be such a thing??) for the coolaid-drinking masses that have figured out how to vote. The current "front runners" waffle their positions on key subjects just enough to garner votes from the fence-straddlers. If Newt did throw his hat in, he would almost overnight get lumped in with "wackos" that the pseudo-conservative talk-radio icons like to beat up on.
The "song" for the 2008 elections will be the same as past elections - "Won't Get Fooled Again".

I'm an independent but I don't think he's that bad( excluding the whole wagging his finger at Clinton whilst boinking someone other that his wife thing)..he's very knowledgeable regarding foreign policy and his contract with America was pretty successful..back in the day when Republicans were actually fiscally conservative....lol

No. If a person does not have a burning passion, he will not muster the effort needed to run a prolonged campaign.
