I once heard someone say something about skinny dipping in the devil's punchbowl in ramona, but i was wondering if anyone else has heard this. Please tell me as much as you know about any possible places. Thank you.

Anazzz, it's a clothing optional beach that's a state beach, there's another north a bit. If you type nudist beaches california you'll find resources that give maps and locations of such places. Probably clothing optional beaches would work too.

Maybe 30 years ago there also use to be a nude beach in the Sunset Cliffs area, near Hill St. I remember going there when I was in college. Use to be a lot of college students and navy guys. But I guess it's no longer nude since you never hear about it anymore.

There are no nude beaches in California. If you do it and get caught, you can go to jail for indecent exposure.
San Diego County Nudity Law
SEC. 32.1004. PUBLIC NUDITY PROHIBITED: It is hereby declared a public nuisance and unlawful for any person to appear, sunbathe, bathe, walk, disrobe, or otherwise be nude in any public place except in an area expressly set aside for such purpose or in those portions of a comfort location, if expressly set aside for such purpose.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period of not more than six months, or by both fine and imprisonment
