Both my dishwasher and front loader use cold water only, and I have to keep swapping the hoses, if I can change hot to cold will I be able to change it back if I move.

You just need to buy a double faucet connector and put it on your cold water line to connect both your appliances to the cold water line.

You could cut a section out of the hot water line and cap the supply side and install a tee in the cold water line and connect it to the hot water line going to the appliance. Why is your dishwasher using cold water? If it has a heater, you are wasting energy to heat cold water. Dishwashers need a temperature around 130 to 140 degrees to dissolve the detergent properly.
