it's a movie i always wanted to get round to seeing..... watched it this afternoon....it was RUBBISH.... anyone else agree?

a beautiful illustration of small town life & the strong relationships women can have.....maybe you're not used to movies that deal with reality & real human emotions... I can see someone young not liking it....maybe you're just too cynical.......

steel magnolias is a great film, i love it and i never get tired of watching it!

It's of it's time. I loved it when I was 18 years or so ago, perhaps if I saw it for the first time now I'd think differently.

No way it was an excellent movie . I loved it . I loved all the women in the movie and it was so cool . good luck .
