The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren

Do you recall a young woman was kidnapped and her kidnapper was an escaped prisoner? I believe he was in for murder.

She read him some excerpts from this book and he surrendered and let her go free. It was on the news.

So it must be pretty inspiring..God has a purpose for your life.

I am sure you have read the Bible but the book of John would be a good book for you to read as well as the book of Psalms. most of it written by King David. He was king of all Israel and he experienced deep depression...of which a lot of these psalms were written. He starts out depressed and ends up at the end of the chapter happy and joyful....

I'd suggest you read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. That is an excellent book and really makes you think and evaluate your own life.
