So, why have democrats been able to raise more money?
Is it really as some say...that democrats are happier with their candidates than are republicans with their candidates?

Herb, I hate to burst your bubble, but...
in this day and age, it's all about the Benjamins, baby. Money rules over everything, including elections.

Yes because Democrats are happier with their candidates but also because the big money chooses the winner and there is no one with any serious insight who thinks these Republicans have a chance of winning in 2008.

The GOP itself has even given up on the white house.Their focus is on keeping as many seats in congress as possible and having a good position for the 2010 midterms

I'm sorry. Losers are those who profess such arrogance and whine at defeat. Hsu donated how much and no one checked on him? So after the numbers fall from his illegal contributions and the rest as the Campaign Ethics Committee gets into them what will the really be. Backing losers? I protest the remark but as usual... rants. AND why do these people need all this hard earned cash anyway? I am sick of Hillary's emails I can not get rid of. Want to eat fries with Bill contribute and I will tell u how??? NO lie, last week that's what they sent out.

The money raised means little. In these times where vets need help, Katrina victims are in need , poor kids have no chance at education, no gym or art in schools anymore?? U name it. How arrogant to expect my money for you. Especially when you make millions on your own with new books coming out like crazy, speaking engagements and all the rest. WHY?
It makes no sense.

I believe that the country as a whole is ready for a change and is more likely to support the dems because of it.
