Has anyone else had this problem? I didn't think anything like this would happen until AFTER baby is born!

yes,use lotion, and drink more water, you may be getting a little dehydrated.

I read in my book that you should not wash your nipples with soap after the first trimester. They start to produce an oil to protect them and keep them clean, if you wash it off they will get too dry. Just let warm water run over them when you shower.

Mine have been so dry pretty much the whole time I've been pregnant. I don't know what to do about it except to use lotion that is safe for that part of you. It can be so uncomfortable (and unattractive). But I hear things are going to be worse in the beginning of nursing...

Drink lots of water and try Lansinoh. A tiny bit goes a long way and you will be able to continue to use it if you will be breastfeeding.

Theyre probably just chaffed from being sensitive. Put some palmers lotion on them.

Yes mine are just starting to get that way too, but my breast are no longer tender and it doesn't hurt.
I have just been putting lotion on them and trying to keep myself hydrated.

nipples will be dry if you let the baby suck on it t long didn't you know that my nipples are fine
