The Yankees will sweep the Indians in the first round. Then, assuming the Red Sox beat the Angels in the other ALDS matchup, the Yankees will beat the Red Sox in 6 games. At that point they will march on to the World Series and beat whoever comes out of the NL in 4 or 5 games. The only problem will be if the Angels beat the Sox but I dout that will happen.

Boston and Cleveland will meet in the ALDS Championship game. The Yankees will not win any games. Well maybe one.

The Yankees have to play the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the playoffs,beginning this week. It is tough enough to predict this series,as Cleveland has great starting pitching and the home field advantage.If they win they can worry about the next round with the Red Sox or Angels.

The Yanks don't have the pitching to win over the long haul against quality teams (as opposed to their "miraculous comeback" over the worst of the AL).
They'll meet the Indians, and lose another ALDS.

Yanks will take down Cleveland in 4 games in the ALDS. They will then move on and take down the Angels in 6 games in the ALCS. Finally, they will beat the Padres in 5 games to take their 27th World Series Championship.
