Hell yeah thats good for the team. I was starting to worry that LBJ would turn in to the new Garnett. The team is still long way from complete but this is a start. Devin with his versatility, toughness and air tight defense will do wonders for the team, he can also play the 2 guard and let Lebron run buck wild. Cavs had been quite all off season and I'm glad they've finally made a move.
Simmons I dont think will make too much of a difference but he still is better than nothing.

Didnt Brown win the NBDL MVP in 2002-03?
If so, then I'd not question that move. Finally,, that dumb@$$ GM of theirs is realizing taht getting better players will help. Lebron cant be a KG dammit! He's got no defense, so Brown can cover up there. I have no idea about Cedric Simmons. Anyway, I hope Cavs get some better guys and someone kick out Boobie Z please! Get someone like Amare Stoudemire or Dwight Howard instead!

Great move for the Cavs. They get rid of a guy who was just sitting on the bench in Wesley and get a young big in Simmons with a great upside. Cleveland may not be able to keep Varejao or Pavlovich, so it really helps shore that up. Simmons was stuck in New Orleans behind Chandler and West, spending his rookie season on the bench. I really like this move for the Cavs.

To boost the bench, and it can't hurt. The bench is the weakest point on the team and the Cavs aren't going anywhere without better talent to give the starters a break. Put Ira Newble on the Lake Erie Monsters!
