Maths is incredibly useful and without it, many of the things that you take for granted in your life would not exist.
In fact, I would say pretty much nothing in this world would exist without someone having studied maths.
So forgive us "nerds" for wanting to enjoy a subject which can be applied to make the lives of people around the world much better. And forgive us for doing all the maths that enables you to enjoy your life!

Math is fascinating! Have you really looked into it? I am studying the works of Georg Cantor at the moment, who wrote about different sizes of infinity. What else is there as interesting as math?

it's useful and you use it more often than you may think. that and there's always an answer. it only sucks if you don't know what you're doing, but the fun is learning how to do what you didn't know... and to answer your question, no i don't have anything better to do
