Yeah guys, just wanted to see what this band could do...don't exactly love 'em, haven't been influenced, but just was curious if they accomplished something that big...

I don't think any Green Day song has gone so far as influenced my life. But "Time of Your Life" definitely brings back memories for a lot of people.

None of them. I'm not a very big Green Day fan. I don't think that they're a very significant band and I doubt we'll be listening to them 20 years from now.

there's really no "one song" at this point...
green day is a big part of my life; they sorta help formed the type of person i am today by magnifying certain aspect of my original personality.
american idiot was my first official album...so alot of songs on there first got me into my frame of mind, but now, owning every album, Insomniac & Nimrod & Kerplunk & all the other 7 albums....yea, it's all a part a of me now.

I LOVE Green Day, and there are a couple of songs that I like "wake me up when September ends" and it probably wouldn't have meant anything to me unless I hadn't seen the video and they used the Iraq theme. My bf was in Iraq at that time and the song just about killed me every time I heard it. But he made it back alive.
There are a lot of artists that I like that have a song or two that I really like. Also a huge Linkin Park fan.

I don't see how a Green Day song could influence anyone's life at all. They all seem so shallow... and simple. Not that they're bad, they're just not influencing in the slightest.

Hard to say that any had a tremendous influence, but I still contend that 'American Idiot' is this generation's 'London Calling'

Basket Case for sure! I was pretty young when it came out and i just liked the beat, but as i grew older i understood and related to the lyrics.
