Both terms refer to a religious state, but what other differences after that?

First, there is the difference of numbers. There are fiftey-one Islamic countries (Shariah law in the constitution) worldwide, whereas there is one, or less than one Zionistist state in the world. I say "less than one" because, unlike all other fiftey-one Islamic countries that are recognized by their more tolerant/diplomatic neighbors, Israel is not recognized by many Islamic countries.

Next, there is the difference of structure. Israel is a democracy, where only one Islamic country, out of fiftey-one, is a real democracy (Turkey).

Finally, theres the two religious states have very different purposes. Judaism is a religion one is born into. Theres no proseltizying. Theres is no plans for a second zionist state, only one can exist in one place...Jerusalem.

Islamic states or Islam, on the other hand, has the stated purpose of world domination via hands on Jihad, as opposed to waiting for a rapture.

Radical Islam is a threat to the entire western world.

Zionism has a single goal: to maintain one Jewish state in the whole world, even if it is less than 1 percent of the territory of all the Arab states, or all the Muslim states.

I would hardly mention the two words in the same breath.

The Muslims who practice radical Islam constitute a threat to the entire western world.

Zionism has but a single goal: to maintain a single Jewish state in the whole world, even if it is less than 1 percent of the territory of all the Arab states, or all the Muslim states.

How could you mention the two words in the same breath?

Sorry that I cannot answer your question due to being side-tracked by this:

how the heck is Israel in the "hands of Zionists"?

BLAH!

Olmert and his cabinet are Zionists? The Jewish courts and media are controlled by Zionists?

What a laugh.

Zionism is not a religious movement. The first zionists, and those that established Israel, were secular Jews.

And Israel today is a secular democracy.

Fanatical Zionist in charge of the political processes and media right now have faked everyone into their corner by demonizing Islam (their agenda all along) thru the use of staged false flag terror operations such as 9/11 and the ensuing "war on terror". The media then has the agenda to perpetuate the propaganda against Islam and to keep the sheep dumbed down just enough to believe it.

Zionism is about 1 GOD and that Jesus Christ IS tne SON OF GOD!!
Islamism is about world domination and Jihad against all infidels, meaning all Christians, which
includes all Americans, Europeans and all people who will not convert to Islam!!
The rest of the question is actually already answered by said questioner which is very good!!
