Yea, 12 is fine for mascara. Don't start wearing heavy eyeliner till you're about 13-14.

I started wearing bronzer and lipstick every day when I was twelve. And at 12/13 I often also wore eyeliner and mascara, by 13/14 I wore full makeup everyday, but I didn't apply it wrongly, it looked fine and made me feel more comfortable!
Now I'm almost sixteen and I wear a lot less than I used to but I spend longer applying it.
I think that wearing eyeliner and mascara everyday at 12 or 13 is absolutely fine.

I think 12-13 is a bit young to be gussying one's self up. A little lip gloss or eye shadow is cute, but don't over do it :)

im 13 nd i was allowed 2 wear it just 4 special occasions wen i was 8-11 after dat iv been wearing makeup 2 school everyday (wer allowed in r school)
