If you dont have a plan that includes them then its .15 cents each. You should get on a plan. Best thing to do is call sprint and tell them to tell you how many minutes you used in each month then add up all the months and divide by how many months you have had the phone. (Usually no more then 12 months so you can avg a years time). If the average comes to about 300 minutes a month then get the 400 or 450 minute plan. This way you know you will never go over. Usually THAT plan comes with text messages and if you go over then it will be additional. You can always add like $5 for 200 messages. The price and amount of text messages change so call for the correct numbers.

Did you know Sprint is the ONLY company that you can send text messages to land lines? THATS RIGHT, text a message to your house and check it out. Its kinda kool. Sprint Rules..

Remember, get on a plan that fits you, not what they offer or is on a sale. Will save you money in the long run.

Also when you want to search for places and you dont have a gps or a laptop nearby. For free you can text 46645 and put in a search like "pizza, 10017" and almost immediately you will get name, address, zip and telephone with how close the place is to you. Whats nice too is that you can press TALK/SEND and whatever is on the screen your phone will automatically put THAT telephone number in and you press TALK/SEND again and it will call that number. niiiiice...

PLEASE spend the extra $4 a month for insurance. They give you a new phone usually. Also NEVER do it over the phone, they charge $35. Go to your local sprint store and tell them to send it to the store, they shouldnt charge you =).

PLEASE add the $4 roadside assistance too. You can get someone to come to the car and open it if you lock your keys in it, or lost your keys period. Doesnt even have to be your car, just be there. I have used it where I was in another state and used it in my home state. They even change flat tires. Its worth every bit the money. Especially for women, its the best $4 you will spend a month.

I hope I have went above and beyond your answer. Only thing anyone can dispute about what I said is Sprint rules, but they do. They own Qualcomm and Qualcomm beat Motorola down in the fight for who owns the technology that helps all of us get tv, bandwidth etc etc to our phones.

Anyway, YOU RULE, cause you chose Sprint...

it went up to .20 on oct 1 - call *2 and add a text plan right away and ask them to back date it to the start of your bill cycle. it will save you lots of money!

in reference to the last answer - insurance can either cost 4 or 7 dollars a month and the insurance company charges a $50 deductible that the store can't waive. You can only add insurance if your phone is less than 30 days old.
