When I get to a place that is really messy but has a huge window, I can see the city at night or day. And all the people around the other apartments are really crazy artists, the atmosphere is quite depressing and i can play a sad song....LOVE the home feeling! i can contemplate my solitary life.

the tripping over toys, the missel toe thats still hanging up from christmas, having my dog steal my shoes, my brother breathing over my shoulder wondering what im doing and the sudden loss of temper

Three things let me know I'm home, really.
1. The dog greets me as if I really mattered.
2. The door is locked--security, you know--and
needs to be locked again.
3. And my wife and the cat ignore me
completely, just the way the country's dictators
do whenever I tell them (hourly) what they're doing
wrong also.

The comforting feel. Even though my house is not super organized, I just feel like I can sit down and relax and be myself and escape the pressures of the outside world.

well lets see, i see the door. walk in. has that familiar warm smell of home. see the pictures of me + family. see my snack closet. bed i sleep in ever day. load of laundry thats yet to be done.school work calling me... "hurry ... before u get yelled at again... and again..." oh yea theres my brother screaming and yelling like a psycho
