Christmas Eve

2016-05-17 04:49:46 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

I actually open all the presents on Christmas eve, with my family. Then on Christmas morning we go to my grandmas and then open presents from them there and have a dinner. We use to open up one on Christmas eve but since I am the only one left in my home that has no life yet so we open them up on Christmas eve.

Yes, my family (adults) pull names and we open that one special gift on Christmas Eve night and all of the rest wait till Christmas Day.

Yes!

Usually the one I open on Christmas Eve is something small and the big guns come out on Christmas Day.

The present the night before is always a tease!

Since I left home, I go to Mums (she's a widow) on Xmas Eve. We make some mulled wine, watch something gooey on TV and open one pressie then. The rest is left till Christmas morning, when I'm with her again to help her cook Xmas dinner for the 2 of us and our dogs!! Really Nice!

Yes. Sometimes two on Christmas eve followed by the rest on Christmas day...

I go to my Grandma's house Christmas eve and open gifts with extended family, then on Christmas Day I open gifts with my immediate family.

DEFINITELY ... a small gift on Christmas Eve (usually from a close family member) .. and the rest on Christmas Day!

This is a tradition in my family .. and one which I definitely shared with my own children (who are now adults).

When my son was younger we waited until Santa had been, but now he's 21, and we all open at least one present each on Christmas Eve.

Nope, we always had to wait until Christmas Day.
We could get up early and see what was in our stockings, but before we opened proper presents, we had to go to church and then have breakfast, which always involved a pie with an egg in it. We never ever had that on any other day.
Now I'm old enough to do what I like, I hardly get any presents anyway, but at least I don't have to eat pork pie for breakfast!
