I will never forget the first time my husband kissed me. I saw stars! AND I will never forget that, at my husband's funeral, God gave me the strength to stand at the foot of his casket and sing "His Eye is on the Sparrow." I loved this man for almost 40 years, and he loved to hear me sing. I asked God to help me do one last thing for the man I loved, and He did. And I thank Him.

I'll never forget .
My Step Dad drove two hours to bring Mom to visit with me .
She was in the early stages of Alzheimer's and he in the early stages of Cancer.
Mom grew restless and he drove another two hours to take her home .
Shortly after they arrived home I received a call that my best friend was in the hospital a thousand miles away and , was not expected to live more than 24 hours.
My Step Dad dashed to the bank withdrew money for me to be able to be with my friend and , drove the four hour round trip to make sure that I got there in time to be with my friend. .
Dad died two months later !
What an incredibly generous and loving thing for him to do !!!
