Snow Flakes, where do you live?
Here in New England we are having a nice fall day, tempreatures right around 70.
Chances are that the snow is a fluke thing and Autumn will return in a few days. We had a few times that happenned in the midwest when I was little.

Mt Hood in Oregon got a heavy dusting today of snow. The
first of the fall/winter season. They showed it on the news.
People won't be able to drive up to the ski lodge without chains now. As our temps have been dropping down here in
the valley, so it will be even colder there. Usually on a clear
day, we can see the mountain from the Washington side.
We have to strain to see Mt St Helens tho. And Ranier.
They are too far off to see well.

On a positive note, big fat snowflakes means it's just barely cold enough to snow. This only happens when snowflakes partially melt on their way down and stick together.

It's Autumn here in Iowa. The leaves are turning and falling. I am glad that I am raking leaves, rather than scooping snow!

Ha ha ha you must be out west. We are having a wonderful Autumn here, leaves falling, a chill in the air. Not ready for snow just yet. I do want it this year but in small amount of inches. Sleigh bells ring, are ya listening.......

Your lucky. I live in south western Arizona. I look out my window and the thermometer says almost a hundred degrees. I am so sick of this hot weather. We broil here. This is fifteen to twenty degrees cooler than it has been all summer.

It was 80 here today and the leaves aren't turning like they usually do. I love autumn and am afraid we'll go straight into winter once it does cool down.
