Maybe music with few lyrics !! such as Jazz or if you'd like ::~!?!. You might even want to try & find some pre`recorded stuff like: familiar commercials& or cartoons!?! I picked those because: Say for instance: Can you ever re`call a time or times that you might be doing some homework as you watch some TV ? .. Also ,.Well like I used to do at times: I'd watch some of whatever program.. But do more work everytime commercials came on !! ever do or did that ? I say commercials because if you can re`call times you've done it that way; Somehow I think it'll have you remember what you'd been doing when a commercial came on!?! Or even have you remember when you heard maybe dogs barking outside your window!?! kids playing outside, neighbors yelling mostly friendly things to buddies on your street ` that you could still hear!?! Things like that !! I picked those because believe it or not those familiar sounds can have you feeling more relaxed!! & lets not forget about those familiar police, ambulance or fire sirens you might here after getting home from school/during your doing homework.. you'd be shocked of how even alot of familiar noise could be a little soothing.. Like I said it's familiar !! & may have you re`calling a time !?! Or saying to self "Yeah I'm at HOME !! I'm cool ... You might even be shocked if you can remember times that you managed to relax with all the sounds going on around you[keyword](RELAX)~!!`"R"r`r.r'r,r`'a`,w W w rRr...

I personally like classical. But I can't listen to fast classical music or else I start to pay attention to it instead of studying, which pretty much defeats the purpose.

I like listening to Mozart's Requiem or Bach's Mass in B Minor. They are slow and calm enough for me to focus!

No Music, Studying and listening to music is just impossible. Its possible but you won't learn anything. But When doing homework listen to Linkin Park."In The End".

apparently listening to classical music especially mozart improves your brain function so would be good to listen to while studying.

i enjoy the blues they have a way of letting the mind really start to think, and it's not that distracting as a faster beat.
