I also live in Columbus (well, Bexley). While I don' like malls, and avoid them when I can, there is Easton, which I think has all of the standard mall stores and then some. My husband and his younge sister like to go to GameWorks (well, my sister-in-law think malls are the greatest thing) and I'll go to the mall, too, when my SIL and my parents-in-law visit as we usually get together for dinner, too. Also, Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store. (Even though Giant Eagle and Kroger double coupons, TJ's is cheap enough that I don't need coupons on some of my staples, especially if I can't get them on sale with coupons when I need the product. I digress.)

Also, I think Polaris still has a boutique of a brand of formal dresses, though I can't remember the name.

There is always Goodwill, too. There is one on Morse road by Easton at which I shop when my husband is at GameWorks, I'll drive there. I go out the front entrance, across from Wal-Mart and Best Buy and turn left. It's on the right side of the road, no more than two miles down. The other one I shop is on High St. down from OSU (no more than five miles), also on the right side. Also, on High St., in Clintonville (roughly across from Clinton Heights Lutheran Church) is a consignment shop, Rag-O-Rama, but I think they're expensive and they rejected all of the clothes I tried to sell them, with the excuse that they were too old and/or dirty, even though I saw some spotty stuff there once when I was shopping and stuff older than mine. I guess that qualified as "vintage". Eh.

There are also stores by OSU, including Urban Outfitters and American Apparell.

I know some of this because my aforementioned sister-in-law thinks shopping is a sport. I think of it as necessary chore to be performed only when I literally need something. Then I first hit the Goodwills and do retail only if I literally need something and Goodwill doesn't pan out, or it's something I wouldn't necessarily buy used, like shoes. I definitely don't do bras and underwear used.

I hope this helps.
