...the Three Stooges movie?

Question

...looks like the Farrelly Brothers are still maintaining great interest in doing a Three Stooges movie, as evident per this recent article:

...just out of curiosity, given the possibilites available, who do YOU think would be ideally cast for Moe, Curly, Larry and Shemp? (...uh, and if the Farrelly's are even considering casting a part for Joe, as in Joe Besser, I will personally call 'foul', and boycott the film!!!).

Note: the late actor/comedian Phil Hartman would have made a damn good 'Moe'; also, in support of Joe DeRita, even though he DID do several fairly good 'Stooges' movies (..."Snow White and the Three Stooges", being a particular favorite), after Columbia stopped making the shorts, I don't think that De Rita really had a good chance to really prove himself a worthy 'Stooge' replacement, after taking over from Joe Besser. He was still far and above funnier than Besser, but in the end, I probably woudn't consider him, in the Farrelly's take on the 'Stooges'...

The Three Stooges, Curly, Moe, Larry

By appearances the actors that look more alike to the Stooges, (In My Opinion) Are:

Curly = Jack Nicholson (now) (or) Adam Sandler
Moe = Tom Green (Or) Ben Stiller
Larry = Woody Harrelson (in Kingpin) (or) Robin Williams

Shemp? Not sure.

However, this subject has me thinking of dumb and dumber, perhaps on camera character personalities such as Harry, and Lloyd in that movie, are very much similar to Larry / "Jeff Daniels", and Curly / "Jim Carrey".

It would be hard to portray the classic "witless" personalities of the Three Stooges, there are many talented comedians, however I can't really "picture" any one truly doing justice to the three stooge’s characters.

I agree there should be no Joe Besser or Joe DeRita, No idea who should play the stooges, but Shemp should be there for sure.

We are the projector in life & we have to change what is inside not what is outside. Ask yourself what is so disgraceful to Christians about this. I think the body is beautiful. I think laughter is the best medicine. You are controlled by the drug companies, religious leaders who are far from Jesus Christ. No, it shouldn't be banned. Passion of the Christ was the most violent movie ever. Are you jealous of the women's body. If you don't think nuns have bodies & sex you need to wake up.
