Can you help me with this Literacy essay?

I am having a problem just starting the essay.
Then the rest I can do.
Introduction: I have to state the works plus the authors I will discuss, plus the theme that connects them!

Giving the points to the closes answer.

Most authors tend to write what they KNOW so chances are there will be LOTS of comparisons between the work and the author's own life. the comparisons may be very subtle but they WILL be there. So, if you just word your introduction along those lines, You'll do fine.
