Every word that makes them look bad is taken "out of context". Yet everything else they say is always taken in context. How is that even possible?

Are neo-cons as "perceptive" and "understanding" when dealing with people they don't agree with?

Out of Context?

It's their favorite "Catch-All" excuse
that they believe seems to work for them.

When people are in the public eye and more importantly, make a career out of being opininated, there is going to be some backlash to things that they have said.

It's done on purpose, it's not a "Neo-Con" or a "Liberal" thing, it's done with the intent to get people to notice. When people notice, they will watch on TV or listen on Radio (whether they agree or not) and that translates into more revenue through advertising.

Celebrities do it all the time. It's marketing. No publicity is bad publicity.

Unless you're O.J. Simpson.

I think it's because many neo-libs don't know how to write or speak in complete sentences. It's much easier to relay, or edit the parts of a speech or statement made by a conservative that embarrass him or her. They will use the parts that support their cause, the rest ends up on the edit room floor.

Many NEO-CONS (to use your tired phrase) are perceptive and understanding and HONEST when dealing with people they don't agree with. Take the blinders off and try it.

Because they are often taken out of context. Furthermore, they are not neo-cons, because neo-cons support liberal spending policies and a huge, centralized Federal government, just like the neo-coms do.

Liberals are just doing to them, what they do to Liberals... it's hilarious to listen to all of them... Hannity for instance will take sound bites from Dem politicians speaking about a particular incident from Abu Grab or the little girl Abri Al-Janabi when her family was killed and she was gang raped by the soldiers and then shot in the head, or other instances... and say "This is what Liberals think about ALL of our soldiers, this is what Liberals think of your sons or daughter that are serving.. blah, blah, blah...... it's insane.. they sit there and tell soldiers that their government hates them, out of context... essentially doing the same thing they claim liberals are doing and that is bringing morale down... it's so sad.. how can you tell American Soldiers that their country hates them, and think you are doing a good thing, and think you are a Great American for doing it

It's a serious problem that continues to get worse. The typical libs grasp of the English language is marginal at best. I think they teach context in the second grade don't they?

I don't know about "always claim" but it happens often because they often are. It seems to be the only way libs can make them appear wrong.
Oh and by the way Limbaugh and O'Reilly are not Neo-cons. If you want to throw words around you should at least know what they mean.

Okay, first off this is a dumb question. Second of al, look at when he went on the View. Rosie was portrayed as the savior and Oreilly the villian. Don't tell me liberals are understanding of their rivals opinions either.

Because that is what happens when you make comments based on emotional reaction, without contemplating the situation you are commenting on.

Kindly provide examples before mouthing off. Otherwise, you're just proving them right.

BTW, isn't it time to stop the tired, hackneyed use of "neocon"? 99% of you don't know what it means, and by broadly labeling everyone that you don't agree with as one, you destroy what little meaning the word might have left.

Irrational, narrow-minded people are incapable of being "perceptive and understanding."
