let me guess, conservatives will give these veterans the same line they give the poor, the elderly, and the others who are in no position to help themselves:

This is not a case of hate. Nobody hates our war wounded. The problem is that the costs of rehabilitation and having large numbers of young American men and women on disability for decades was not factored into the deployment of our military in a hostile environment. It has been a long time since the military was actually deployed in such large numbers and the ill effects of the last major deployment were finally being countered.

As a soldier who has spent 4 years on the Middle East I find it disgusting that you would twist a story like this into conservatives "hating war heroes."
You have no shame do you?
And, just so you are aware for future reference, 82% of the military is right of center. So there's an 82% chance that those War Heroes are conservative.

Excuse me but I am a conservative and a volunteer at the VFW ( in case you don't know what that stands for Veterans of Foreign War) so get your facts right it is the liberals who bash the war and therefore our soldiers who are fighting it.
Not to mention President Bush
(conservative) gave them a long overdue pay raise.
It's the adjustable mortgage that seems to be the problem there aren't many people that could make a house payment that high.

The guy has a $5700.00 mortgage payment - are you f-ing kidding me? He gets paid $4300 a month from the government. $4300 is pretty damn good.
