Salt water crocodile for sure. Have you ever looked at a crocodile, it is covered in armor (1+ inch thick). Look at a Great White Shark, all it has are some light scales. The crocodile would have a much better chance of actually penetrating the Sharks skin and causing damage. Crocodiles also have a much stronger bite force than Great Whites, meaning the crocodile could still inflict more damage.

EDIT: The crocodile can actually open its mouth wider than a Great White can...

its a 50/50 equal match, they are both a powerful predator and can kill anything they are at the top of the food chain.

Great White shark -
the shark has a many rows of teeth all about 3inch in diameter needle pointed, there skin is barbed and is over 6inches thick. being an oxygen in water breather means they can stay under water permanent.

Salt Water Crocodile -
the crocodile has a good strong set of teeth up to 4inch in diameter needle pointed, their skin is Armour plated and can smash a persons skull under combat. Being an oxygen air breather limits their time under water.

one brutal attack or head shake from the crocodile hitting the sharks gills will seriously injure the shark or even kill, but one bite from the shark could shatter the Armour of the croc, causing irreversible injury.

In discovery channels animal face off. The great white shark won. The armor wouldnt be that much of a problem since great whites can penetrate sea turtle shells.

Edit: Actually the croc won first fight, But then when it swam away another greatwhite just killed it with one bite.. wow pwned....

The shark is more agile, but would have a tough time grabbing hold of the armored, leathery croc. It would take many gnashes of a shark's jaws to get deep enough into the croc's flesh to do real damage. Whereas, once a croc gets a grip, it won't let go until it's prey is dead. Croc wins hands down.

Great White Shark. Not just because of their teeth, but because they have these little "techniques" to survive that the saltwater croc doesn't.
