There are no great on line colleges. Most are For Profit corporations that are not respected by employers. In addition, they charge a lot more than respectible public universities.

Also -- there are no great colleges that don't look at SAT or ACT exams.

You have three choices -- take the exam, go to a crappy school -- or don't go to school at all.

The best thing to do would be to take online classes at a community college, then transfer the credits to your local state university's online program. The online-only schools that don't require SATs are not very well respected. They're accredited, so if all you want is a degree that "counts" as a degree, they're fine, but if you want a degree that will open a lot of doors for you, stay away from the places like Phoenix, Kaplan, and DeVry.

All offer many classes online and entire degrees. You'll need to take the SAT tho.
