Eddie Murphy's "Hot Tub" skit as James Brown.
Steve & Dan as those "Wild & Crazy Guys".

Gilda Radner. BTW, the "Not Ready For Prime Time Players" first got national recognition on radio. They appeared on a regular basis on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered", before ever appearing on SNL.

Gilda Radner way up there. She was the best of the best.
Garrett Morris when he was the voice for the deaf. Screaming the words.
I really liked Chevy Chase too. "I'm Chevy Chase and you're not."
Jane Curtin. Those looks she gave were priceless.
Coneheads were stupid.
I remember John Belushi doing the samurai swordsman restaurant thing. He was very good. Sad to see a loss from overdose of drugs.
I remember "hamburger, hamburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger."
Thanks for the memories.

Watched it every Saturday night and miss the zaniness. It's changed so much that I haven't watched it in years.
I loved, and still do:
Gilda Radner, in anything she did.
Chevy Chase and his falls and, of course, the newscasts.
John Belushi as the Samori anything.
Eddie Murphy as James Brown
Dan Ackroyd and Steve Martin as "Two Crazy Guys"
Jane Curtin doing newscasts.
These, to me, were the times when fun was really fun. There were a few hidden inuendos, but still really funny. Not like today at all.
