YMCA, of course. Village People story....I used to play in an all girls rock and roll band. One night after a gig we were in the back room of a local pancake house about 2:00 am having breakfast when there was a ruckus out front and several men were ushered into the back room with us. There was really nothing unusual about them. They were polite to us, had their meal and left.....later we found out that they were in fact the Village People and had just done a show in Jax. a few hours earlier.....cool.....

I loved them all, but did the most dancing to YMCA. I was at a local racetrack this summer with some family. The youngest was 10 and I was the oldest, we were all doing the Y-M-C-A arm movements to the music there with a few thousand of our closest friends. lol

I loved them all ! My friends and I went to the premiere screening of their movie, "Can't stop the Music", and we spent hours learning the lyrics of the songs so that we could sing along with it when we were in the cinema. The whole thing was so light-hearted, good memories there.

Macho Macho, Man.

I sent a singing card to my son for his birthday. It played Macho Man.

So funny. I loved all of their songs. People just started making fun of them and I don't understand why.
