Come, on it could be any of the above. People can't be pigeon-holed! Perhaps they're secretly shy and overcompensate for the problem. Perhaps the think they're great. Perhaps noone's ever told them they're great and they need to believe it. Perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps.
5 years studying Psychology ahs taught me a very valuable lesson... Never try to guess why someone is the way they are. It's wasted cognitive effort coz you'll never never get the answer!
